China Doll invited comment on certain statements recently made about a certain wizard. I have had no desire to say anything on the topic. But happily, I found much of what I have been thinking conveniently summarized in the New York Times. Unfortunately, since I read the article this morning, it's disappeared behind the Times's registration fence.

You do know that registration is free, right? Sorry I can't comment on the article--I haven't read the books nor seen the movies!
I take that as freedom to comment MORE! As I have done neither as well! I feel this article is constructed much better than the other article on the subject.
Yes, registration costs nothing monetarily. It's just a hasselhoff.
